Guardiola says squad is improving constantly

Pep Guardiola has said that Bayern Munich have been improving with every game this season and he has possibly seen the best performance from his players in the 4-0 win over Hannover during the weekend. Bayern Munich sustained their four-point advantage at the top of the table after this victory, which was especially important given that there nearest rivals Hoffenheim also managed a win from their match. Realistically, this is seen as a one horse race already in the Bundesliga this campaign since some of the strongest teams like Borussia Dortmund are languishing in the bottom of the table.
Despite this, Guardiola has been keen not to allow complacency to settle into the team. There have been major changes to the team over the summer. Players like Mario Mandzukic, who have not been viewed as ideal players for the system employed by Guardiola, have made way for Robert Lewandowski, who has come to the club on a free transfer. The former Dortmund striker is yet to start firing on all cylinders for Bayern, but Guardiola is already seeing tremendous improvements across the pitch. Lewandowski scored a brace with Arjen Robben scoring the other two goals against Hannover.
Lewandowski has now scored four goals in the Bundesliga this season. Bayern are undefeated after seven matches. "We are obviously pleased with the result. Hannover was the third or fourth team that played against us with a five-man midfield, which is not easy. We scored four goals and it could have been more, but the most important thing is that we are getting better with every game. We play more and run less. That's why I'm happy. It was a good game, we played really aggressively forward and they were left with no chance,” said Guardiola. Bayern Munich are at home to Werder Bremen after the international break.
