BAYERN END SEASON WITH WOLFSBURG DRAW
German champions Bayern Munich ended their season with a lot of goals after they played out a 2-2 draw in their last league game of the season. With the result, the Bavarian giants didn't win any of their last three games in the German Bundesliga this season. As a matter of fact, Bayern Munich have not won a league game since they wrapped up their tenth straight Bundesliga title by beating nearest challengers Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at home.
In their first game immediately after the Borussia Dortmund game, Bayern Munich were beaten 3-1 at Mainz 05 and Robert Lewandowski was the man responsible for the lone Bayern goal.
Bayern Munich then played outa thrilling four-goal game with VfB Stuttgart in their next league game which was also their penultimate league game of the season. Stuttgart took the lead before Bayern Munich responded with two first half goals from Serge Gnabry and Thomas Mueller to turn the game on its head. Stuttgart found an equaliser early in the second half and they were able to keep Bayern Munich at bay for the rest of the game with the Bavarian giants ending the Bundesliga clash with ten men after the red card given to French winger Kingsley Coman for a slap on Stuttgart defender KostantinosMavropanos who's on loan at the German club from Premier League heavyweights Arsenal.
For their last league game of the season at Wolfsburg, Croatian defender Josip Stanisic gave Bayern Munich the lead in the eighth minute before the lead was doubled by Polish striker Lewandowski. Jonas Wind pulled one back for the home team on the stroke of half-time to give his team a foothold in the game. German international Max Kruse levelled proceedings for the home team in the second time to ensure that the two teams pick a point each from the game.
