Bayern Munich eying Barca's Alexis Sanchez
Pep Guardiola, the Bayern Munich manager, might be set to make yet another raid on his former club Barcelona to get forward Alexis Sanchez during the January transfer window. The Chilean footballer has been in a stunning form this year after he took some time to settle in La Liga in Spain, but he could be on the way out of Barcelona with an increasing list of teams lining up to sign him during the transfer window.
Teams like Inter Milan and Manchester United have been linked up with Alexis of late, and recent reports suggest that German giant Bayern Munich is also very keen to include him in their team. Even though reigning treble champs are in great form this season, Pep is believed to be very keen to include a footballer to alternate with Mandzukic upfront.
The Croatian has proved a great signing for the defending champs, scoring in past season's Champions League final victory, though Alexis could offer Bayern Munich something different with his finishing ability and pace.
Already, Guardiola moved to sign Alcantara from his ex team earlier this summer, and stays a huge fan of Alexis, whom he signed for Barcelona from Italian club Udinese in the year 2011.
Unwilling to lose an important footballer, the Spanish champs are likely to stretch out for big money bids for the twenty four year old, even though Bayern Munich board are all set to back Pep Guardiola for this important purchase.
