BAYERN NOT TO RISK STARS

Louis van Gaal has said that Germany should not risk playing Bayern Munich stars in the Denmark friendly. Louis van Gaal said that the match was much too soon for his players, who have only recently returned from the World Cup tournament in South Africa.

Bayern Munich players who played on Germany’s international squad include Miroslav Klose, Mario Gomez, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Müller and Philipp Lahm.

Van Gaal denied that his position was a ‘boycott’ of the match, adding that the players themselves will ultimately have to take the issue up with German football authority DFB.
