Bayern still interested in Sane as valuation drops
Bayern Munich has been showing interest for Leroy Sane for a long time. They are offering a deal of £61 million for the player. The player has not made a lot of appearances in the game due to his injury but the club is still showing interest.
Sane currently plays for Manchester City and they offered a deal of £142 million for him during last summer. He has lost the season due to the injury which he acquired during a game at Wembley in Community Shield.
Bayern will be taking advantage of this situation by making a low price deal than what is offered. The 24-year-old with 12 months left with City not saying anything about his further plans. Pep Guardiola wants Sane to stay in the team and is now preparing a new contract for the player. If City decides to strike a deal with other clubs, it is very unlikely of them to accept the amount offered by Munich and it is certain they will demand a higher price.
Leroy Sane’s decision to leave will be a blessing to another player. It will give the 17-year-old Jayden Braaf an opportunity to play for the senior team and be the first option in midfield.
Many clubs from Germany has shown interest for the young player but the club director Txiki Begiristain has been impressed by his game and wants Guardiola to focus on the player.
Sane was brought by City for €37 million during the 2016 season at the age of 20. In the same season, he has developed to a good player and has found his place in the team. When City won the Premier League titles for two years, the contribution of Sane can be great in the both the occasions. He has totally scored 24 goals and assisted 35 goals.
