CHELSEA: THREE STRIKER OPTIONS REVEALED
Chelsea have made the signing of a new striker their top priority in the current transfer market. The West London giants struggled for goals last season especially in the Premier League but still managed to win the Champions League title under manager Thomas Tuchel. The German tactician wants to address the situation by signing a quality striker who would be a regular source of goals.
Three strikers have been seriously linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as Tuchelaims to sign a new frontline striker as discussed earlier. Borussia Dortmund star ErlingHaaland is the main target for Chelsea but a deal would be difficult to execute this summer but the officials are hopeful that a transfer for the Norwegian international is a possibility.
While Haaland is the main target, Chelsea have lined up alternatives for him in the shape of Bayern Munich hitman Robert Lewandowski and highly rated tall striker SasaKalajdzicwho plays for VfB Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga.
Polish international Lewandowski has two years left on his Bayern Munich contract and he has been linked with a move away from the German champions this summer. Recent reports claimed that the Blues are ready to test the Bavarian giants with a £50m bid. Age is not on the side of Lewandowski but the Polish national team skipper still showed why he's the best striker in world football after breaking a 50-year-old record for most goals in the German Bundesliga.
Lewandowki scored 41 goals for Bayern Munich as they retained the league title. His goal tally beat the previous record set by Bayern Munich legend Gerd Muller who scored 40 goals over five decades ago and also repeated the feat some years later.
For Austrian international Kaladjzic, Chelsea want to sign him from Stuttgart if they are unable to sign Haaland from Dortmund as reported by the Daily Mail.
