COMAN WANTS TO LEAVE BAYERN, DESIRES A PL MOVE
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has expressed his desire to leave the German Bundesliga giants and has set his sights on a move to the English Premier League, according to reports. Bayern Munich want to keep the player at the Allianz Arena and have offered him a new contract extension but he seems to not be content with the fresh deal and has asked to leave Germany in search of not only a new challenge in his career but also an improved contract offer.
The current reports are claiming that if contract negotiations between Coman and Bayern continue to be fruitless, then the only way forward would be that the player ceases to play for the Bavarians and become a free agent if the German club fail to find a buyer. Several top clubs across Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain, his former club, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City have all been urged to make a move for him as he is expected to come at a relatively cheap price because Bayern fear losing him for free.
Manchester United are in the market for a new attacker this summer and have set their sights on Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho as their priority signing. But they could turn their attention elsewhere if they continue to struggle to find a way forward for the English winger.
The Red Devils were reported to have set Coman as their second option if they fail to land Sancho this summer and they could well explore their options given that France attacker Coman would be a less-expensive option than Sancho who has a price tag of around £90 million set on him by his club Borussia Dortmund.
Arsenal are also interested in Coman but are reportedly waiting to first get their most important deals over the line before targeting a move for a winger.
